What is a Health Coach?
A fairly new field, health coaches work side-by-side with their clients to discover and adopt new health-focused habits that naturally fit into their individualized lifestyles. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Throughout our time together we will find what is most effective for you.
An Individualized Approach
It is important to understand what works for your friends and family may not work for you. All too often we look outward for answers to our own health questions, when really the answers are within us. It is a goal of mine that my clients learn to listen to their bodies, whether it be during exercise, a meal, or in stressful situations. By stopping and listening to what our bodies are telling us, we can become experts of our own health.
A Safe Space
Food and our relationship to it can be a very vulnerable topic. I can guarantee that every one of my clients’ unique stories will be met with privacy, respect, and grace. You will be safe; and it will be within that safety that we will be able to uncover more about how, why, and when we eat.
